Pastor Scott came to Clare Assembly of God in November 2009. He is highly motivated about three things: teaching the Bible, loving people, and guiding God's church. Pastor Scott has pastored for 25 years and sits on the board of Central Bible College-Michigan. He loves pastoring Clare Assembly of God and is passionate about reaching communities with the love of Christ. Pastoring in Clare will be his life's work.

Pastor Scott and wife Lisa have four children ranging in ages of 12-20. The younger three are active in the Clare Public schools.

Dave Borowsky is doing a phenomenal job among the students of Clare Assembly of God. The student ministry has grown considerably since Pastor Dave and Michelle started in 2010. Pastor Dave brings a heart to reach people who are seeking and a wealth of experience having worked in the ministry for many years. His wife Michelle loves the students with the heart of a servant. Dave and Michelle live in the Midland area and have two children.

Pastor Berkley has been a bio-vocational pastor for 40 years and is an ordained minister. Pastor Berkley is a gifted teacher. He and his wife, Ardus, provide excellent leadership to the Senior Ministry. Pastor and Ardus Berkley have lived in Lake for 15 years and they enjoy hunting and boating.

Holly Hill comes to us with a bachelor’s degree in secondary education through Central Michigan University’s Teacher Education Program. She has been involved at Clare Assembly of God for over a year serving in Children’s Church and working at the Child Care Center. She also plays a vital role in our youth ministry.

Dan Lake has volunteered as our Worship Music Director since 2002. We are pleased to announce that he is coming on board as a staff member. He brings a plethora of music ability: he plays piano, guitar, and percussion. Dan’s main objective for the Worship Music Ministry is to lead the congregation in worshipping God in Spirit and in Truth so He can freely move among His people and change their lives.
